Totally Addicted

There are nights when you can't sleep and all you think about is that one special person who keeps you smiling all day and night. There are times when the smile that he gives you keeps on lingering in your memory and everybody notices that you are beginning to smile yourself.

When your young and in love, there goes the song of Ruby and the Romantics, 'each night seems just like the fourth of july" , there are fireworks everywhere, your heart keeps on beating fast and you suddenly becomes so conscious of that person.

Suddenly inside the class, you keep on looking at him, and it would be too obvious because he is at the back of the room. The next time you know, you will be planning some foolproof ways of getting his attention. Oh! the woes being a girl, you can never express your true feelings. Expressing yourself will not be tolerated.

A single, innocent look from him would bring a lot of confusing thoughts to you, " Does he know my secret?", "Do you think he likes me too?" and a million different thoughts mostly a product of your fantasy would begin to materialize ONLY in your mind, only in your world.

You just can't get enough. the feeling of being a fool in love is so addicting you just don't want to be without a crush or a 'silay" in Tagalog term. This feeling brings you a surge of inspiration, like you want to be a better person, you want to be attractive, you want to be NOTICED.

Being sixteen or eighteen surely is a wonderful age to be addicted to love.
