Some stuff about world geography

The total area of the Earth is about 510,000,000 sq km or 197,000,000sq miles; the total land area is about 149,000,000 sq km or 57,500,00 sq miles. The lowest temperature recorded is -89 degrees Celsius, or -128 Fahrenheit, and the highest is 57.7 degrees Celsius or 136 Fahrenheit. There are 203 sovereign states in the world, of which 193 are fully recognized. The largest is Russia, at 6.6 million sq miles, the smallest is Vatican City, at 0.17 sq miles.

1. Moscow. Jerusalem is at 35 degrees 12 minutes East. is at 37 degrees 36 minutes East

2. Nairobi, Kenya is at 36 degrees 55 minutes East.

3. Madrid, Rome and Barcelona. New York is at 40 degrees 47 minute North, Rome is at 41 degrees 54 minutes North, Madrid is at 40 degrees 26 minutes North; Barcelona is at 41,23

4. Russia is on Europe and Asia, as is Turkey, and Egypt is on African and Asia

5. Macau has 48,003 people per sq mile. The only place that's close is Monaco, at 43,830.

6. Bangladesh has 2,917 per square mile.

7. Greenland is by far the lowest, at 0.067 people per sq. mile. Of fully independent states, the lowest is for Mongolia, at 4.42 people per sq. mile.

8. Reykjavik. Then, in order Anchorage, Helsinki, St Petersburg, Stockholm, Aberdeen.

9. London to Rome is 891 miles; New York to Chicago is 714 miles

10. The lowest point in Lesotho is 4593 feet above sea level

11. The highest point on the Maldives is only 7 ft above sea level; of countries that are not islands, the Gambia's highest point is 174 feet above sea level
