Tour Edge Bazooka Geo Max Driver Review

Long and Forgiving Without the Funny Shape

Tour Edge golf has been around for some time and have come out with some very good products in the past. Just a few years ago I played a set of their forged blades and thought they were just as good as any other out there no the market at that time. The Tour Edge Exotics line has been given a lot of attention in the recent years with their performance and looks, but ultimately, Tour Edge has always been a company for the average player in both performance and price.

The Tour Edge Bazooka Geo Max driver is the latest in the long line of Bazooka drivers from Tour Edge. It's 460cc head size is designed to provide the most forgiveness possible without going to the extreme shapes that a lot of companies are going to.

It features a head with a very deep and low center of gravity aided by a 20 gram tungsten weight which helps to increase the M.O.I. to over 5000! The Geo Max also features a hot Titanium face that will give you some length to go with all of the fairways you will be hitting.

When I got a few swings at this club the thing I liked most is how easy it was to square up to the ball. The shaft was a little light and long for me, but all I had to do was swing softly and the club would do all of the work for me. I hit high draw after high draw down the fairway, and when I went after a few, the ball really took off down the range. For around $200 this is a great club for the price and amateurs will love how forgiving it is. I think that for this driver to get better for the average player would be to get it cut down a little. I have always thought that especially for the average players that the driver should not be any longer than 44.5". It will help you to you to hit the club on the center of the face more often and even though todays clubs like the Geo Max thrive on off center hits, a square strike to the sweet spot on this club will keep the ball going for miles!

Check on out at your local pro shop and take one for a test swing! I am sure you will find this club just as good as the $500 ones!
