You will want to make a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. The rates are reasonable, with adult tickets going for $20, senior citizens are $14, children ages 9 to 12 get in for $11, and children 8 and under get in for free. Perhaps you want to visit the Quicken Loans Arena, home of the Cavaliers, to see various performances. The Q is located directly beside Jacobs Field, which is a must see for any baseball enthusiast, one of the most beautiful stadiums around. Enjoy a beer from our own Great Lakes Brewing Company, while you are taking in a game.
I highly recommend visiting the Time Warner Cable Amphitheater at Tower City, formerly The Tower City Amphitheater, and The Cleveland Playhouse, both of which have fantastic events slated year round. That is not all, folks. There are numerous places to visit for the finest of dining throughout Cleveland. You will want to check out Alice Cooper's Town Food and Spirits, they have some of the best fries around. You can never go wrong with the Hard Rock Cafe, no matter where you are. Prime rib, folks the best prime rib in all of northern Ohio is located about 45 minutes south of Cleveland. Steve's Dakota Bar and Grill, located in Medina, provides the best prime rib on the market. They also have the best clam chowder I have ever tasted, but you better save room for dessert. Their chocolate tower cake is out of this world. Forget paying steep prices for nothing, you will not be leaving this place empty handed. Speaking of sweets, you have got to check out the Malley's Chocolate factory in Brookpark, located about 10 minutes from Cleveland Hopkins Airport. Malley's is famous for their chocolate covered strawberries and, on occasion, chocolate covered grapes.
For fantastic family outings, we have the Cleveland Zoo. We have the Cleveland I-X indoor amusement park. Try picnicking in the Cleveland Metroparks, the Metroparks offer hiking trails, biking trails, streams, and scenery that will leave you screaming for more. Speaking of scenery, make sure you find someplace overlooking Cleveland itself, because you are going to want to see Cleveland beneath a night sky. The towers are breathtaking as they highlight the darkness.
Need someplace to stay? Not a problem, Cleveland features a national historical landmark, the Hyatt Regency at the Old Arcade. We also have the Ritz-Carlton, Red Maple Inn Bed and Breakfast, Georgian Manor Inn Bed and Breakfast, and the Intercontinental Hotel and Conference Center to provide some of the classiest and sophisticated places to stay during your visit. If those are too extravagant, there are more than 4,000 hotel rooms that are more than adequate for your stay.
Forget paying too much for a family vacation. Cleveland offers many more things to do for a lot less.
