Sea Ranch Motel
The Sea Ranch Motel in Carolina Beach is located just a few, short steps from the Atlantic Ocean. Many of the rooms have a balcony that overlooks the beach and soothing waves. A heated pool and jacuzzi are located on the property for guest use only. The pool overlooks the beach and ocean and ranges in depth from 2-feet in the shallow end to 9-feet in the deep end. The motel is owned and operated by a single family, so there is no chain motel feel when staying at the Sea Ranch Motel. Pets are not allowed in the Sea Ranch Motel. A Family Fish Cottage is also available for booking through the motel. The cottage can accommodate six people with one queen, one full and two twin beds.
Guests can call to make reservations starting January 31, 2011 but the motel does not reopen for business until early March. The pool typically opens in April. Sea Ranch Motel is located in southern Carolina Beach. Rooms can be reserved by calling (910) 458-8681 or (800) 849-8977.
Sea & Sun Motel
The Sea & Sun Motel in Carolina Beach is a small motel with a personal feel. Guests to the motel love the personal service and family feel offered by motel employees. Sea & Sun Motel has no official website, but guests can call (910) 458-7918 for more information. The motel is located at 501 N. Lake Park Blvd. in Carolina Beach.
Dolphin Lane Motel
Located at 318 Carolina Beach Ave. in North Carolina Beach (Pleasure Island) is the Dolphin Lane Motel. The motel is located on the beach so guests need only make the short walk from the room to the ocean for summer fun. Efficiencies come standard with cable television. A pool is also available to guests with ocean views and guest-only access. Grills are situated on the properties for guests who wish to cook dinner instead of eating out.
