Baguio City is one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines whether you are a local or a visitor. Baguio City is known to be the summer capital of the Philippines because of its cool climate. Baguio City is also recognized as the pine capital due it's many orchids and mossy plants. The city also has numerous religious objects that draws pilgrimage to come and it has many markets where one can purchase a large amount of native products made by the native people known as the Igorot. Baguio City is also identified as the first class city in Northern Luzon in the Philippines.
One of the most visited landmarks in Baguio City is the Baguio Cathedral. Baguio Cathedral is situated on top of a hill in the heart of its city which persuades visitors to pay it a visit first. Baguio Cathedral is one of the most photographed structures in the city due to its twin spires. This can be accessed from the session road and it has more than one hundred steps for those that are church goers and religious people. For those not that are not interested in climbing the stairway and prefer to drive instead, this can be accessed through a road which passes behind a nearby post office building.
Yet another well acknowledged place in in Baguio City is the Burnham Park which is a favorite of most visitors. This is positioned in the heart of the city and is named after its architect, Daniel Burnham. The Burnham Park is used for a variety of things such as picnics, football games, biking, outdoor concerts, strolling and there is even a man made lake around it where one can enjoy rowing. Burnham Park also has restaurants for those looking for a cool as well as beautiful ambiance. An orchidarium is also available where one can purchase beautiful orchids along with mossy plants.

I love Baguio City, I grew up there. Just curious though, was the first sentence a typo- in refernece to the year 1990's or did you mean 1890's?
