What I love about this program is that they deliver your meat in 6 month supplies. You then pay a monthly fee, for us it is just $156.10 a month. That leaves lots of money for other things like fresh fruit, bread and milk that we also need that is not included in the delivery.
This meat is so fresh! It thaws quickly and is tender and flavorful without the need to season. Our saleswoman actually did an experiment with us - she grilled some meat with our favorite seasoning and then with nothing at all. The meat with no seasoning was absolutely delicious! We love the hamburgers because they are actually sirloin! We also enjoy having ham and roasts on hand for family gatherings or a last minute get together.
The vegetables are Cascadian Farms brand, which is highly reputable. Cascadian Farms brand is pretty expensive at stores like Kroger, Central Market and Whole Foods, but through Town and Country we get a great deal. We end up feeding the whole family lunch and dinner for only $5.20 each day.
The company itself is pretty responsive to our needs. We have had a few situations come up where a phone call was required and they always get back to us within the week. Just recently we had some severe storms come through while we were out of town. A tornado hit a power line which caused our freezer to lose power for a week and all of the foods inside spoiled. Town and Country replaced the lost food free of charge without putting up a fight or making us feel like we were to blame! Now that is customer service!
They also have a referral program which allows you to get a $50-500 discount on your food. You can refer up to 10 families every 6 months and get $50 per family taken off of what you owe. So for us, our debt of $936 would be dropped to $436 if we refer 10 families and our monthly bill would be around $73 a month! I just can't say enough good things about this company! Oh, and when you agree to a free consultation, they give you a week supply of free meat! Can't beat that!!!
