Toy Review: Parents Peek a Zoo Lock Box

My son received the Parents Peek A Zoo Lock Box as a gift for his first birthday. I loved that it was such a nice solid toy for my son to play with. I was a little concerned that he might get hurt because it was so heavy. Thankfully he hasn't and has been having fun playing with it ever since.

The Peek A Zoo has a gold handle on the top so your child can carry it around. Even though it is very heavy, my son still manages to move it around the room. It has an orange wood roof over the tower. One side of the tower has three compartments. The top one has a yellow door with the number one written in black on it. It has a hinge and hook over screw closure for the swinging door. Behind the swinging door is an insert for the x shaped block to fit in. Under that door in the middle of the tower is an orange square door with the number two written in black with a slide lock. Behind the swinging door fits an orange triangle shaped block. Under that door is a green door with the number three written in black with a hook over lock closure. Behind that door fits a green circle shaped block. On the opposite side of the tower at the top is a blue door with the number four written in black with a slide lock closure. Behind this swinging door fits a blue square shaped block. The one underneath this one is an orange door with the number five written in black with a hook over screw enclosure. Behind this door fits an orange heart shaped block. The last door underneath this one is a purple door with the number six written in black with a hinged closure. Behind this door fits a purple star shaped block.

Each block has a picture of an animal on it. The purple star has a bird. The orange heart has a cat. The blue square has an elephant. The yellow x has a monkey. The green circle has a koala and the orange triangle has a snake. On the other sides of the tower there are cut out in different shapes so your child can push the correct shape through the correct cut out. There is a blue door on the bottom of the tower that when you open it all the pieces come out so you can play again.

My son has so much fun learning his colors and shapes with this toy. His friends enjoy playing with it too when they come over. You could purchase the Parents Peek A Zoo Lock Box at Target for $19.99. I highly recommend purchasing this toy for your child.
