Toy Story, which was released in 1995 and Toy Story 2 released in 1999, are Disney Pixar films that tell the story of toys that come to life. It's no wonder that it has been a favorite since its release. Do you have a Toy Story fan in your house? Or are you one? Then you'll love this grouping of online resources and activity ideas. These activities would also work well for preschool or elementary school classes and many of the ideas can be used for party games, activities or goodie bags.

In Operation Alien Rescue game you play as Buzz Lightyear. You want to rescue all the LGM's watch out for the vortex and other aliens. If you rescue all the LGM's you move on to the next level.

Inthis game you are Buzz and Woody who have been left by the moving van. You want to catch up to the van by using the arrow keys to control the van. Watch out for other cars on the road and oil slicks. You also want to collect batteries on your way, so that the batteries in your car do not run out.

This game is "Buzz Lightyears Flight for Distance". Help Buzz prove that he can fly. You help direct him with the mouse, so he can jump on the ball and fly!

Activities

With Disney's playsets you can print and make your own paper puppets of characters from Toy Story.

Let your kids create their own town out of boxes similar to the one Andy plays with in the beginning of Toy Story. You don't have to use full size moving boxes either, even cereal boxes and other containers will work. Gather markers, crayons, glue and construction paper. They'll have fun coming up with what buildings they want to have, decorating and then playing with them.
