Toyota India Introduces the New Innova

Toyota India has launched the advanced version of its leading MPV, Toyota Innova. The New Innova is redesigned with a new front grille, bumper, alloy wheels, rear tail lights, and parking sensors in the rear bumper. In the interior it has a multi-information display, automatic air-conditioning, and steering mounted audio controls.

On the occasion of launching the new Innova, Deputy Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Hiroshi Nakagawa, said, "We are focused on constantly upgrading our products based on customer feedback. The new Innova with its additional features will attract customers from both the MPV and Sedan segments."

It is believed that since the inception of Innova in the Indian car market, about 160,000 units have been sold and the car holds a market share of 36% in the MPV segment. Even in 2008 when the MPV experienced a 13% negative growth, Toyota successfully sold about 44,000 units.

The new Innova is available in both petrol and diesel variants in the price range of Rs 7.66 Lakh and Rs 11.06 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
