Toyota Tacoma is a Truck that Lasts!

A Truck that Keeps Going and Going

Myself
For the past 3 decades and to the present time, my family has only owned 2 trucks and both of them being a Toyota Tacoma. I certainly do miss our first Tacoma truck because it was the exact same car that I used to practice driving in when I received my learning permit to drive back in high school in my junior year. I wasn't comfortable practicing driving in a truck but it was all that I had to work with. I literally grew up in this truck and was a little sad when my father finally sold the truck. Our first Tacoma wasn't sold because the truck was broken or costly to upkeep, but because the odometer has wrapped itself around so many times that we felt it was time to find a new truck.

Instantly, my father knew he wanted another Tacoma and so he did. It was a 1997 Toyota Tacoma LX and still runs up to this day.The truck wasn't a tough V8 or even a V6 engine, it was a simple 4 cylinder engine and didn't possess much of a acceleration kick. However, what the truck did have was it was easy on the gas and had room for 4 people. We hauled many things in the back of the truck from appliances to even cow manure. Like its predecessor, the miles accumulated and my father thought about selling his beloved truck and once we thought we would be without a truck for awhile. Soon after my father went back to the person he sold his truck to and took his truck back.

The reason why my father was keen on retrieving his beloved truck back was because it is difficult to find a reliable truck and one that is small in size but big enough to carry a large load. Sure, my father could of went and purchased a Toyota Tundra or one of the many other large trucks out in the market, but for some reason we just kept going back to this same truck. Maybe it had cast a mysterious spell over us and just won't let us go, or maybe it is just one amazing truck. If you're in the market for a truck then I highly recommend giving the Toyota Tacoma a try. I can assure that you won't regret the purchase because I can assure you that we certainly didn't and our next truck would also probably be another Tacoma.
