One of the features of the car was the gas mileage. This was an economy car that did not know it was supposed to be economy. The seats were very comfortable and the MP3 player capability was unique for it's time and category.
As far as the look of the car it had the appearance of a sports car without the price. Don't misunderstand me though this car did not have the ability to go as fast as a sports car nor in as short a time.
My particular vehicle did not come with power windows and doors which I would have thought should be standard for this model.
While this was a con to this car I could have purchased the upgraded model for about $2K more. One of the things I would have liked to have seen is for those features to be standard on the top model.
Another nice feature was the fact that I did not have to perform maintenance every 3,000 miles. There was a sensor that would let me know when it was time to change it and it was designed to be changed every 5,000 miles.
With the recent announcement of the issues with this model, I ask myself if I would have still purchased it knowing what I know now.
Answer? undecided. While I loved this car I still think I may have been able to get a bit more from the competition. Mileage wise? Untouchable for the 07's in its category. Overall, it was not perfect but it was a great value vehicle.
