Scramble
Santa Claus purchased the game of Scramble last year for my son's Christmas morning. Scramble is a gheneric version of the classic game Perfection. I can see why it was generic and less expensive than the real one. The timer is hard to set and seems to move in slow motion. The object of the game is to get all your colored pegs into the right holes before the timer goes off. You push down the ends of each players side, and when the timer goes off, it pops up, scattering the pieces. Scramble doesn't do a good job of popping, it just kinda comes up slowly. Other than that its a good game, fun for all the kids, ages 4 and up. They get excited waiting for the timer to go off. I will definetly buy the real version of the game instead of the knock-off next time, though.
Aquadoodle
We own an Aquadoodle that I bought for my two-year old daughter as a present. They have alot of fun with it, her and her older brother. Its a very creative way for them to draw. You fill the pen up with water and draw away. There is no mess, and the mat is very durable, no leakage or draining. The only thing I did not like about the product is that it only came with one pen. But for an additional five dollars you can purchase another one, making it a toy another child can play with, too. After the mat is drawn on, the color dries within a minute and can be drawn on again. It keeps my children's interest for a long time, they love playing with it and even ask for it alot. You can also buy stamps to make the fun even better! A great toy for a very reasonable price.
Hot wheels Laptop
My son has a laptop toy computer that he received for Christmas a few years back. It is from the Hot Wheels line, and he loves it. It features so many different games on it, he could never get bored playing it. Plus, it is a great learning tool, teaching numbers, spelling, reading, writing, and much more. The activities are easy to learn and it is easy to operate, the age group is from 3 and up. Younger children can also play by just pressing buttons and making noises, and still get enjoyment out of it. The batteries do not wear down quickly like alot of toys do, and when the kids are done playing it folds up for easy store. The Hot wheels computer is a great educational toy for young kids, and it also teaches them the basic workings of a real computer.
