Tracking My NFL Preseason Predictions Week 3

A Look at My Projected Sleepers and Bust

Ryan Lester
Surprises
J.P. Losman - Prediction: 3400 yards, 24 TDs, 16 INTs
On Pace for: 1360 yards, 0 TDs, 5 INTs
Right-O-Meter: 1
Losman got hurt. Really hurts your projections. He completed every pass in Week 3. So what if he just threw one pass.

Alex Smith - Prediction: 3000 yards, 20 TDs, 14 INTs
On Pace for: 2459 yards, 5 TDs, 5 INTs
Right-O-Meter: 1
Well, he finally cracked 200 yards and threw his first TD.

Chris Brown - Prediction: 1000 total yards, 5 TDs
On Pace for: 1440 total yards, 0 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 8
56 total yards in Week 3. LenDale has scored the past two weeks though. Brown needs to break some long ones.

Jerious Norwood - Prediction: 1200 total yards, 5 TDs
On Pace for: 885 total yards, 0 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 4
His 66 total yards was his season's best.

D.J. Hackett - Prediction: 80 receptions, 1100 yards, 8 TDs
On Pace for: 37 yards
Did not play because of ankle injury.
Right-O-Meter: 1 - An ankle injury will keep the Right-O-Meter low all year long.

Vincent Jackson - Prediction: 64 receptions, 1100 yards, 9 TDs
On Pace for: 955 yards, 5 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 6
98 yards and a score. That's what I'm talking about.

Heath Miller - Prediction: 600 yard, 8 TDs
On Pace for: 805 yards, 5 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 10
Solidf 82 yard performance

Disappointments
Vince Young - Prediction: 2800 passing yards, 650 rushing yards, 16 TDs, 6 rushing TDs, 20 INTs
On Pace for: 2272 yards passing, 512 rushing yards, 16 TDs, 5 rushing TDs, 15 INTs
Right-O-Meter: 10
My predictions are on target, but a further review of my projections, and those numbers wouldn't be that bad.

Maurice Jones-Drew- Prediction: 1100 total yards, 8 rushing & receiving TDs
On Pace for: 832 total yards, 0 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 10
55 total yards. Another stinker. At least he outscored Larry and Rudi Johnson this week.

Torry Holt - Prediction: 1100 yards, 7 TDs
On Pace for: 1120 yards, 11 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 5
He didn't reach the endzone this week. His 63 yards were mediocre, but keep in mind Bulger only threw for 116 yards.

Tony Gonzalez - Prediction: 700 yards, 5 TDs
On Pace for: 891 yards, 0 TDs
Right-O-Meter: 8
His yardage is better than I thought, but he still hasn't reached the endzone. He did have a solid 7 catch, 96 yard game against Minnesota. Dwayne Bowe looked good, which could open things up for Gonzo and LJ.

I continue to bomb at QB. Half of my WR prediction seems to be coming around. MY RBs need to break long TDs to get me going. TE has been solid. My bust picks are still pretty accurate.

I love the Right-O-Meter you are using to tell how you are fairing this year. Nice work.
