Trade Rumors for Carmelo Anthony: NBA Hot News

Just because Carmelo Anthony says that he may stay in Denver does not necessarily mean that he will keep to his word pertaining to his recent contract debacle. Carmelo Anthony has definitively gone on record with Yahoo Sports that he will not accept or sign a 3 year extension with the Denver Nuggets.

The recent hot bed controversy about trade rumors pertaining to Carmelo Anthony - leads Denver fans to feel and believe that his tenure with the Nuggets may come sooner than what many Denver fans assume to be true.

Carmelo Anthony is hungry for a NBA Championship, and knowing that he has the limited capacity in obtaining this in Denver seems to be a futile reach in the dark - leaving Carmelo with only a one way ticket out of the golden nugget capitol.

Even though Carmelo Anthony helps lead Syracuse to a NCAA championship, and also help lead the USA team to a Gold Medal in 2008, Carmelo will not be satisfied until he achieves his ultimate goal - which consists of winning a NBA championship.

Carmelo may not pull the LeBron James stunt, but it will be a matter of time before a trade to the New York Knicks may become a reality of sorts. This trade may happen before the trade deadline ends, or it could happen much later after the deadline date.

Carmelo has been in the league long enough to know that if a trade will take place - it will be one that will land him with a team that will need his talents for more than a year or two.
