Create Attention
Find a way to get the attention of customers and set your tables apart from your competitors. A prize wheel is an easy way to get attention. Use a prize wheel, with different types of prizes on each segment of the wheel. Let customers spin the wheel and take home the prize they win. Use a few promotional products on the commonly hit areas, including pens, tee-shirts, hats and can coolers. Include a few larger promotional items, like chairs and add discounts or coupons when buying your product. This gives potential customers a reminder of your product and what you have to offer.
Get Information
Gather information from prospective customers by holding a raffle and giving away a prize. Place a large fishbowl in the center of your table or at one end of the table and fill in the surrounding area, with your product. Add a sign, detailing your prize and the terms to win. Include a pen and slips of paper for people to write down their contact information or require a business card. Use a prize that's large enough to entice people, such as a free kitchen makeover or a cash prize. Depending on what you sell, you may even offer a year's supply of your product to the winner.
Display Your Products
Make your product the main focus of your table display. Show customers exactly what you offer and how it works. An easy way to do this is by hosting demonstrations throughout the day. For example, if you're selling cookware, then make different dishes throughout the day and show customers what each pan does. Encourage potential customers to try out the products for themselves. Ask people from the crowd to help you work on your demonstrations and see how the items feel. Use shelves and racks to display extra items you're selling and let customers know you have those on hand.
