Combine the Two for an All Natural, Refreshing Drink

I've discovered a most delicious, refreshing and healthful summer drink. And the ingredients are from my favorite grocery store, Trader Joe's in Palm Desert, Ca. I use a combination of the Trader Joe Garden Patch, a blend of all natural vegetable juices and the Trader Joe's Essential Greens Veggie drink.

Just pour the Trader Joe's Essential Greens Veggie drink and the Trader Joe's Garden Patch over ice, in any combined amounts to suit your taste. For extra zing, I add about a 1/4 tsp. cayenne or, if you prefer, hot sauce. That is optional, of course. If you have some celery in your refrigerator, just add a stalk to the drink for aesthetic appeal and added nutrition. Stir and enjoy. It is wonderfully refreshing and nutritious. I often drink it in lieu of lunch or for a filling, low calorie between meal pick-me-up. I also take it to my weekly bridge games. I'm not sure if it improves my play, but it certainly helps cut down on my eating junk food.

The Trader Joe's Essential Greens Veggie drink is made from two pounds of fresh veggies including celery, spinach, cucumber, kale, wheat grass, sunflower greens, romaine and clover sprouts. Each 8 ounces is only 50 calories and supplies 60% Vitamin A, 70% Vitamin C, 15% Calcium and 20% Iron. It is cold pressed and found in the refrigerated section of Trader Joe's.

The all natural, pasteurized, Garden Patch Vegetable Juice Drink is made from Tomato paste and a vegetable juice blend of carrots, celery, beets, parsley, lettuce and watercress. Each 8 ounces is only 50 calories. There is both a low sodium and regular sodium version. My personal taste is always the low sodium product if given a choice. Trader Joe's Garden Patch supplies 20% Vitamin A, 4% Vitamin C and 4% Calcium.

I can't think of a more deliciously satisfying, easy way to enjoy one's veggies! Cheers!
