1
Separate
Separate your egg yolks from the egg whites in two bowls.
2
Mix
Mix together the egg yolks and sugar - stir at low speed for about 2 minutes. Then, increase your speed to high until mixutre becomes thick for about 10 minutes. (you'll want to frequently use a spatula to scrape the walls of the bowl)
3
Add
Add in the bourbon and brandy, using only 1 tbsp. at a time to prevent the mixture from becoming "chunky" and curdling. Wrap serran wrap over the top of the bowl and place it in the fridge to chill.
4
Stir
Stir egg whites on high for about 2 minutes.
5
Cream
Stir whipping cream in a separate bowl for about 2 minutes on high.
6
Mix
At roughly 25 minutes before serving, bring the egg yolk mixture out of the fridge and stir in milk and nutmeg.
7
Whisk
Using a wire whisk, hand stir in the egg whites and whip cream mixtures in with the egg yolks. Serve and enjoy!
