Traditional Mother's Day Activities

This article is about how we used to celebrate Mother's Day with activities for our Mother's. It was always the same every year so our mother's knew not to plan anything on Mother's Day except for what we planned.

Our family tradition for Mother's Day activities were simple and basic. When Mother's Day rolled around it was the same every year.

First we would go to our grandmother's house and wish her a Happy Mother's Day because she is the one that gave us our beautiful mother's. Then we would plan with our mother's what to do for the day.

Usually all the kids would say go to the park and have a picnic. So that is usually what we did every year for Mother's Day unless it was cold then we would plan an inside activity at our grandmother's house.

Our activities with our mother's usually consisted of all the kids and their mother's would sit down and make little crafts out of paper for the mother's. Color and paint them together as daughter and mother.

Then, the kids and their mother's would take the homemade crafts and hang them on our grandmother's fridge because we were at our grandmother's house everyday.

This was and still is a family tradition in my family. The best thing about Mother's Day is spending time with your mother and doing activities with her. It brings them closer together.

So we made sure never to forget Mother's Day every year. We still do this tradition to this day.
