You also get extra points for things like reaching 50 credits, the amount needed to activate your account. Did I mention you also get credits when your referrals get credits? If you want, there is also the option of purchasing credits. As a Pro member, you can post unlimited links that you want traffic to, while as a free member you can only promote ten sites. Still, that is usually enough to get started. If you wanted to upgrade later you could. Pro members are also allotted 2500 free credits per month and get a reduced price for purchasing credits, plus they get double rewards for referrals and such. Still, the free method is a great resource, especially if you don't want to invest money into it. That is most likely the best option for a lot of people getting started. The second site, Traffic Digger, is also free to join and uses viral marketing to promote your website. You create a free account and post a single free text ad. This ad is distributed to several websites, promoting your site. Then, if you refer others to join Traffic Digger under you, your text ad gets distributed to more and more sites for each person you refer. Your ad can be about almost anything and you can change it at any time. Have a blog and want traffic to it? Get enough traffic to the blog and now want to drive it to your affiliate link? Just log into your Traffic Digger account and change the ad. This is a great resource for anyone needing to promote a website of any kind for any reason.
