If you child really feeling frustrated and confuse to stay organized and on top of homework, project deadlines and studying for exams then you should start to provide them some organizational skills to become a successful student.
First of all, you need to work out together with your children to get them instill with the habit of composing daily or weekly to do lists. Develop a checklist in order to check and keep track with the assignments, household chores and project deadlines.
Start your course by training them to keep a small notebook dedicated to the listing of homework, assignments and projects. Let them write down every single thing that they need to accomplish and have them cross off each item as it is done. Looking at a completed to do list will give and instill children a strong sense of accomplishment. This will help to improve in their homework and projects.
At home, you need to build up a stable and consistent routine for your kids. This is crucial to your child's success at school.
You need to set a proper place to study where it is a quiet location with few distractions. Make sure that all the school supplies and materials are provided. Confirm that you child is studying in the same place every night. If you want your kids to be organized, you must be firm and consistent to adhere to regular routine at home with the proper schedules bedtimes and limited television viewing.
Children, with normal and regular bedtime will perform better as they are well-rested and being trained to be organized.
Train your child to check and pack their school bad before go to bed. He should know how to pack his homework and books in the school bag. As the mother, you can help them to prepare the clothes for tomorrow to be laid out with shoes, socks and accessories. Encourage your child to sort through book bags and notebooks on a weekly basis so they don't fall victim to the paper clutter monster.
An organized child will be striving better results in school and this will also help them in future.
