Trans-Siberian Orchestra Releases Tour Dates for 2008-2009 Concert Season

Three TSO Show Dates Available for the DC/Virginia/Maryland Areas

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra has announced its 2008-2009 tour schedule. Starting November 1 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra begins its tour rocking cities across the nation and Canada in the months leading up to Christmas and through the New Year. Some cities on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra tour list have tickets available now, including Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Baltimore: Fans in the Baltimore, Maryland area can catch the Trans-Siberian Orchestra on Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. at the First Mariner Arena. Tickets are available for pre-purchase via the Trans-Siberian Orchestra website via Ticketmaster with a current 8 ticket limit. Cost for tickets is $37-$47 per ticket, depending upon seating location.

Richmond: Virginians who want to catch the Trans-Siberian Orchestra this 2008-2009 Christmas season can catch one of two shows at the Richmond Coliseum on November 8, 2008. The first show is scheduled for Saturday, November 8 at 3:00 P.M., which may be better suited to families with smaller children. The second begins at 8:00 P.M. According to the Richmond Coliseum's website, ticket prices for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra events are yet to be announced.

Washington, D.C.: Closer to Christmas, Trans-Siberian Orchestra offers two concerts in the District of Columbia at the Verizon Center. The first concert is December 14 at 3:00 P.M and the second concert begins at 7:30 P.M. Tickets are available for pre-order through the Trans-Siberian Orchestra site or through Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for the D.C. concert are slightly more expensive than those for the Baltimore event, costing $39-49 and there is also a strict 8 ticket limit for pre-orders.

Fans who can't wait for a 2008-2009 concert date can visit the Trans-Siberian Orchestra site view video via Real Media or Windows Media Players, in addition to audio clips. Also offered are ring tones at a cost of $2.49, which will help fans get into the Christmas mood early. The TSO, deemed a rock orchestra, will please concert goers with dazzling light shows and Christmas music with a rock edge.

Fans of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra may remember videos of homeowners who have set their light shows to TSO tunes. One notable video that appears on You-Tube features a brilliant display of the homeowner's lighting prowess, which was widely circulated around the Internet in addition to appearing on You-Tube.
