Transformers

I have seen this movie for more than 10 times already. And I still cant get enough of it. It is directed by Michael Bay and produced by Stephen Spielberg (executive producer). To sum it all up, it is a badass movie, lots and i mean lots of action scenes, very cool visual and sound effects, and a cool sound track composed by Linkin Park titled What I've Done.

The humans in this movie are Sam Witwicky played by Shia LaBeouf which bought a car, Bumblebee, which turns out to be an alien robot. The super hot Megan Fox which stars as Mikaela Banes, Sam's crush which is highly skilled when it comes to cars, because of her dad, which is a car thief! Sam's parents Ron and Judy played by Kevin Dunn and Julie White. Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson play the soldiers, Army Ranger Captain William Lennox and Air Force Technical Sergeant Robert Epps, respectively.John Turturro plays Reggie Simmons, a Sector 7 agent. Maggie Madsen played by Rachel Taylor who decoded the virus left by Frenzy. Jon Voight plays the United States Secretary of Defense John Keller.

The story starts in the planet called Cybertron where the All Spark came and created the Autobots and the Decepticons, but Cybertron was destroyed and the All Spark is lost. The transformers searched for it. Then Megatron, leader of the Decepticons, found and followed the cube to Earth, where he crashlanded in the artic ice and froze and was then discovered by Sam's great-great grandfather during the 18th century. It sounds a bit lame and confusing at first but it worked well I guess.

The movie is two and a half hours long filled with some funny scenes and mostly action and fight scenes. The robots look absolutely amazing. They looks like real robots doing their stuff, shooting rockets, jumping off buildings and doing crazy stuff. Overall, it rocks and there is an upcoming sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen which is expected to be released on June 24, 2009. So mark your calendars for that.
