Together they embark on the journey to find the Allspark, it is a cube that can restore life to their dead planet, but Megatron and the Decepticons also want the Allspark. Their plan is to turn all of earth's technology into evil robots in order to take over mankind.
While following the Allspark to earth Megatron crash lands and ends up frozen in the arctic, where Sam's great great grandfather discovers him. There is an accident and the location of the Allspark is encrypted into his glasses. I know it sounds a little weird, but once you see the movie I assure that you will have a much better understanding.
This movie was not a slow one at all, the opening credits had not finished totally before the action started. The special effects in this movie were the best that I've seen in a very long while. Everytime they transformed back and forth was a special treat for me, because you clearly see there was plenty of time and detail put into each one of them.
More interesting facts about this film are the voices for the Transformers:
Peter Cullen-voice of Optimus Prime(leader of the Auotbots) also the original voice from the eighties cartoon
Hugo Weaving - voice of Megatron(leader of the Decepticons) also played Agent Smith in the Matrix films
Darius McCrary-voice of Jazz (second in command of the Auto Bots )also played Eddie Winslow on Family Matters
There were many times during this movie that I found myself laughing, and there were moments when I felt like crying. For the majority of the film I sat on the edge of my seat in amazement, not taking my eye off the screen for fear of missing something exciting.
Those of us who grew up watching the robots in disguise will not be disappointed by this movie at all. You may find yourself going up to your attic and pulling all your old transformer toys out of their dusty boxes. So far I have seen the film twice, and there is a strong chance there will be a third. This is the best action film of the summer, maybe even the whole year that I've seen.

Post a CommentI skipped this one, didn't think it was worth the time. Darius McCray, glad to see he has found success after Family Matters.
