Transformers: War for Cybertron Best Transformers Game Made

Transformers: War for Cybertron was just released for all major systems. Transformers: War for Cybertron is available for the Wii, PS3, DS, Xbox 360, and the PC. Transformers: Ware of Cybertron is a third person shooter. I think that they should not have made a third person shooter game for Transformers unless they had made alot of other games for Transformers. For instance there are a ton of Star Wars games and while I do not like third person shooters I do like Star Wars Battle Front but the Star Wars had developed a track record of good games already. Not everyone is a fan of third person shooters and with a franchise game you want to bring as many to the game as possible and a third person shooter is not the way to do that.

While I may not be a fan of third person shooters I still sometimes enjoy them and at least I can tell what is good or bad about a game regardless of what kind of game it is. There are certainly some good parts to Transformers: War for Cybertron as well as some problems with the game as well.

As you would expect the graphics are great, the only problem you may have is if there is a lot of action going on which is very likely in this game then you lose some of the visual quality and may even lag. This is a much bigger problem when playing multi-player which is to be expected. The sound is great only problem is again if there is just to much going on at once which is a common problem to many games.

You get to play as either Transformer side and you get to play on Cybertron. I think playing on Cybertron would be the biggest draw to Transformer fans. The single player mode can be pretty challenging which is not so good for a franchise game because it turns away the larger audience but for hardcore gamers it is nice to see a franchise game that is hard. Even the hard core fanboys though will not appreciate how repetitive the levels are.

The multi-player part of the game is what makes this game good. Fortunately with the Internet you do not need a friend to play the better part of this game.

Overall I think the game is alright. While some will recall that there are a fair amount of Transformer games they should remember unlike Star Wars the Transformers franchise has not made any good games. This is about the best Transformers game around. If you like Transformers this will be the best game you could play for Transformers, if you like third person shooters you will also enjoy this for a while. If you do not fall into either of these categories though I would not recommend Transformers: War for Cybertron .
