Trans-nationalism is the term used to describe a less nation-centric world, and a more "encompassing" vision of the Human condition. Trans-Nationalism speaks to one world governmental bodies as the ultimate authority over the actions of nations.
Other phrases that are far more dangerous sounding are the more accurate terms. Post-Nationalism is my favorite. As we all know, "post" means "after," therefore post-nationalism is what some envision the world to be when individual nations are no longer completely sovereign entities. Imagine the highly virtuous UN being one of the many post-national arbiters of all manner of economy, society and government for our little blue marble, the US included.
Any chance the lesser nations of the world would side with the US in any international and legally binding wrangling over national sovereignty, especially where the majority of our citizens were to reject trans-nationalism? So, should the peeps of Sri Lanka have the right to dictate to Americans? Talk about "taxation without representation," so to speak?
Ever heard of the World Court in The Hague, Netherlands? You will be hearing a great deal about it soon. The closer these usurpers of traditional America get to their stunted vision of a future US, the more often you will hear about the World Court, and about edicts and governance coming from The Hague, directed at we hateful, selfish and resource hogging Americans.
Our own domestic haters love the World Court, just like they love the UN and any European nation that hates on the US for our evil ways of hedonistic consumerism, our daring to put murders and child rapists to death, and all the other things we do in the US that the rest of the world either envies, is jealous over, or demands we must stop doing due to some trumped up unfairness they allege. What bull!
Our own domestic haters are the ones pushing for this Trans-Nationalism. Any surprise there? The usual suspects that say the US is bad, are the same ones advancing that European social democracy is good, "Detroit needs to build cars Americans want," and without saying the actual word, they do favor one-world government. Oh, they will deny that loud and long, but what other conclusion can a rational and thinking person reach?
Somehow, someway, the have nots of the world, the Third World nations, social Democrats, socialists and our own domestic American haters have latched onto this concept and they will forward it as the only 21st Century option. Don't believe me? Here's some proof for you to peruse:
Who is it who says the Constitution is outdated, is a "living" document and that we need to consider international law when our American courts decide cases? The American left does. You know who else says these exact same things? People who admit they are Trans-Nationalists!
Remember, in my article "Communist Goals, circa 1963," one of the overarching themes of those Communist goals was to "Promote the UN as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one world government with its own independent armed forces." Go read the article and see some fo the other Communists of 1963 envisioned for the US, then tell me our current crop of leaders aren't almost in lockstep with many of the Commie goals! Here's the link:

Trans-nationalism is all about, once again, leveling the playing field for the whole world. And as I have very effectively argued on previous occasions, since all we hear about is the western world's unfair monopolization of resources, etc., would it seem like the Trans-Nationalists are arguing in favor of the elevation of the world to the American standard? That's what they will argue is the reason, but that's complete BS.
As the West and especially the US is excoriated for our hedonistic lifestyle, those who favor Trans-Nationalism are not arguing in favor of elevating the world. That leaves only one other method of leveling - the lowering of western living standards to level the playing field.
And that's again a battle of class warfare, just this time it's on an international scale. They intend to tax us, and internationally legislate the US into submission. And who else is forwarding such general concepts? Any prominent Americans seeming to be waging class warfare in the US? That's right - President Barack Obama, and his supporters.
President Obama is leading this charge in the US. What is wrong with our nation's electorate when they elect someone who is more concerned with the world than with our own nation? The President is to look out for American's well-being. And to an American Lefty all this one-world crap is wonderful, although again, they won't publicly admit it just yet. But what about the rest of us who didn't fall under his spell?
Do we have any rights left? Friends, ugliness that most could not have previously imagined is on our horizon. What might one imagine could occur when we pit the usual American suspects squarely behind our total loss of national sovereignty, versus those of us who would rather see this nation a pile of embers?
I know my last statement was a strong one, but sorry to offend some of the touchy-feely's feelings, but hey, life's a bitch, right? Truth is sometimes ugly. As far as me and mine are concerned this ugliness the usual suspects forward will bring this struggle to their doorsteps.
My national sovereignty is not negotiable. Do you lame-brains hear me? I know you laugh - "ol Whiplash is at it again. He's out here tossing around all manner of silly prognostication," and similar such sentiment. Keep laughing. I have the distinct feeling that when this issue comes to a head, it will be me and mine doing the laughing.
Yeah, yeah, I know. Ya don't believe that either.
Hows about ya believe this - there are far more of us jingoists than there are of you big thinkers. Do you honestly, in your overly active and exceptionally darkly vivid imaginations, think the at least 60 million of us who are dead set against this stuff will just stand by and watch? Boy will you be shocked.
And when you hear the term Trans-National know you are listening to people who find the US exceptionally flawed and direly in need of change. As one of my AC Lib pals loves to say "[They] will drag us kicking and screaming into the future." The only thing wrong with that statement is who'll be doing the dragging, who'll be kicking & screaming, and who's future will prevail. You smart cats are in for a very rude awakening, good ol' jingoist American style. Careful - that's gonna leave a mark!
As this insanity plays out I will revisit this subject. Y'all keep your eyes peeled and your ears cocked to the left.

Post a CommentDitto, Justice. The World Court was even mentioned by Sandra Day O'Connor when she was still on the bench...she said that our Supreme Court would be getting more and more of their decisions from the World Court and other nation's rulings. All I can say is, it is all prophesied in the Bible and this brings the time of my Lord returning closer!
I believe globalism has been a goal for a long time, and the plan has been slowly going according to their schedule. I believe with all my heart that this was inevitable; no matter WHO the President is! The very fact that they do not seem to fear us anymore tells me that there is something compelling them to thwart our will and destroy our sovereignty that they fear even more than being torn apart by an angry mob. And yes, I think this would've happened even if McCain won! This is something bigger than any President compelling these Trans-Nationalist tendencies of our government, something they truly fear (unlike a pile of teabags in the congressional mail room!)
Could you be specific as to what my paranoia is?
You have a couple good points here, but your paranoia buries them. I've always been a proponent of isolationism, but it's too late now that all our jobs left the country. And I do not believe there are "America haters" or people who want the US to be in embers. The only people who say that are the ones who want everything to stay the way it was. Well, a DEPRESSION happened, and everything is going to change. Whether anybody likes it or not. Keep looking over your shoulder, you never know when a lefty will attack! :)
