Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2009 Concert Tour Dates Released

Trans-Siberian Orchestra has released their tour date schedule for 2009/2010. This year,Trans-Siberian Orchestra will begin its 2009/2010 Concert tour with a concert to be held in Youngstown, Ohio on November 1. Their 2009/2010 concert tour will wrap up on January 3 in Nashville, Tennessee. Overall, Trans-Siberian Orchestra will play over 130 shows during their 2009/2010 tour.

Virginia Trans-Siberian Orchestra fans can catch a concert at the Richmond Coliseum

Richmond, Virginia, is on Trans-Siberian Orchestra's 2009 tour list again this year. Last year, my husband took me to the Richmond TSO concert as a birthday present. I had heard a lot of great things about their shows and wanted to experience a TSO concert first hand. We had a great time at the show and thoroughly enjoyed the music and also the light show. I do suggest that concert goers dress warmly. We were seated on the ice rink, which was covered for the event. The metal chairs made floor seating a chilly experience. The concert itself was superb and a local girl who was touring had the joy of performing in front of her family.

The Richmond, Virginia Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert will be held on Thursday, November 5 at 7:30 P.M. Unlike last year, there is only one show and also unlike last year, the concert will be held during the work week.

DC area Trans-Siberian Orchestra fans can rock out at the Verizon Center

DC area fans will have their choice of two Trans-Siberian Orchestra concerts. Both concerts will be held on Wednesday, December 9 at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The show times are 4 PM and 8 PM, so concert goers with children may want to opt for the earlier concert time. This mid-week show will make it harder for DC area families to catch a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert due to the fact that these concerts are being held mid-week, amid rush hour for the 4:00 show, right at a time when many children are getting off their school buses. The 8:00 show is a bit late for younger kids too, as the concert does last approximately two to two and half hours.

Baltimore, Maryland Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert also a mid-week concert

Coming on the heels of the two TSO concerts in Washington, DC, the troupe will travel to Baltimore, Maryland for a Thursday, December 10 show at 1st Mariner Marina. The Baltimore concert, which also falls mid-week, starts at 7:30 P.M. This later start time, as compared to the DC TSO concert, should allow Baltimore area concert goers a bit more time to get to the concert without getting stuck too much in rush hour traffic.

When are Tran- Siberian Orchestra tickets available for purchase?

Tickets for these Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert dates will be available for Richmond, Virginia on September 9; for Washington, DC on September 14 and for Baltimore, Maryland on September 18. TSO tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com.

Overall, Trans Siberian Orchestra fans in Virginia, Maryland and DC are likely to be disappointed. None of Trans-Siberian Orchestras 2009 concert dates fall on a weekend which would make it much easier to plan to attend a concert. Instead, TSO fans in the area will need to fight rush hour traffic or take time off from work to make it to a concert on time.
