Trans-Siberian Orchestra
has released their 2010 tour schedule, which includes a stop at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. in November. D.C. TSO fans who can't make a Thursday night concert will want to travel to Richmond, Virginia the next day since it is the only other concert available within about 100 miles. Unlike last year when there were two concerts held at the Verizon Center, this year there is only one. In all, there are 127 concerts scheduled for Trans-Siberian Orchestra's 2010 Winter Tour. Trans-Siberian Orchestra 2010 Winter Tour begins November 3

TSO fans in Omaha, Nebraska will be the first to see TSO as they kick off their 2010 Winter Tour there on November 3, 2010 with two shows. They'll meander through the Heartland and New England until they find their way to D.C.'s Verizon Center on Thursday, November 18, 2010. The one and only concert in Washington, D.C. is scheduled for 7:30 P.M.

Can't make it on Thursday? Richmond, VA is next closest venue.

If a Thursday night concert in D.C. is not a viable option, D.C. concert goers may want take a 100 mile road trip down I-95 to Richmond, Virginia on November 19th to catch the only other Trans-Siberian Orchestra show that is within a reasonable driving distance. The Friday, November 19 show in Richmond is scheduled to begin at 8 P.M. at the Richmond Coliseum.

No other TSO concerts nearby, not even in Baltimore

Baltimore, Maryland is not on the Trans-Siberian Orchestra Winter Concert 2010 tour list. Fans in Maryland will either have to drive into D.C. or make the drive to Philly for one of their concerts, which are both being held on Saturday, November 20, 2010. The Philadelphia concerts will be held at 3 P.M. and 8 P.M., leaving Baltimore TSO fans ample time to make the 100 mile road trip.

  • Miss the DC concert? Richmond is 100 miles away.
  • Baltmore fans will either have to go to the DC concert or travel the 100 miles to Philly.
  • DC to Philly is a bit far - approximately 140 miles.
Don't leave the concert too soon! There's an intermission, which at the last concert I attended, caused many to get up and leave because they thought the concert was over.

Thanks for this! I'm a huge fan of orchestral metal and a long-time fan of these guys when they were Savatage! So, glad to see such wonderful music being played and appreciated by a wider audience. I understand the guys from Twisted Sister and some other group are doing a new Christmas album this year. Van Helsing is an excellent choice for modern orchestral metal, too. Rock on metal warriors!
