Paris has more to see then you could probably see in the just a week's visit. Therefore, you'll want to plan your trip out to make sure you see all of the top artistic and beautiful sites that Paris has to offer.
You'll want to start your trip with one of the most talked about sites in the world, the Eiffel Tower. However, just looking at the Eiffel tower from the ground, just won't give you the experience you deserve. Wait until night time, and watch the light show, then you'll want to take a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower and enjoy a brilliant meal at one of the finest restaurants that Paris has to offer, the 58 Tour De Eiffel. After dinner, you can take the elevator up to the peak of the tower and view the entire city of lights and beauty (even in the dark).
Once you've encountered Paris' most known monument, it's time to move on to the most spoken about Museum. The Louvre will give you an experience that you will never forget. You will view original pieces of art, such as the Mona Lisa as well as some of Da Vinci's other well known paintings. It's been said, that if you look at each piece of art in the Louvre for 3 seconds, you could spend an entire year in that museum. So, be prepared to spend the greater part of your day enjoying the essence and beauty of some of the finest pieces of art in the world.
If you've decided not to spend the entire year looking at the most exclusive museum in the world, you'll want to move on to the next cultural experience. The church of Notre Dame de Paris has some of the most brilliant stone carvings, and stained glassed window displays you will ever see. From the second you pull up to this historical church, you will be winded by the beauty and history. Tours are given daily for those who are interested in hearing all of the history of this well known church.
The Arc de Triomphe is a monument that stands freely in the center of Palace Charles de Gaulle and the western end of the Champs-Elysees. This arch is a symbol for those who were in battle during the Napoleonic Wars. The beauty and history will overcome you.
For some of the city's most beautiful and very cultural artwork, you'll want to travel up to Montmartre. This is the old part of the city where you will find mostly all native Parisians. They sell their art work in the center of this area, the market shops are amazing to walk through and the architecture is something that you will never be able to compare to again. You will feel as though you have traveled into another era, and may not want to come back to reality. While this is one of the most beautiful and exciting parts of Paris, you'll want to keep your eyes open, as it's also known for its pick pocketers and small amounts of prostitution. The best time to visit this area would be during the day. However, if you are willing enough to keep your safety goggles on at night, you can visit the Moulin Rouge for a dinner show experience that will not be forgotten. With these top sites in Paris, you can't go wrong with hoping to fulfill an expectation of getting the real partisan experience on this trip. You'll probably want to re-visit Paris many more times in years to come.
