When we last saw Marty McFly and his good friend Dr. Emmett Brown on the big screen, they had just returned from an adventure of a life-time. As a result of their journeys, the space-time continuum was once again placed in check, and Hill Valley was at peace - naturally following the flow of time. That is, until now. Today, six months after The Delorean time machine was witnessed destroyed - it has mysteriously reappeared in Hill Valley. It's up to you, Marty McFly, to figure out why.

Gamers now have the opportunity to play as the lovable Marty Mcfly in an all new interactive adventure game from Telltale Games, Back to the Future the Game. The game which is currently available for the Windows PC and Mac OS X gaming platforms, is scheduled to uniquely arrive to gamers as they become available; as a total of 5 monthly episodes. Episode 1, "It's About Time" was released during the late holiday season (2010), with the second episode "Get Tannen!" scheduled for a February 2011 release. The title is also expected to soon be made available for the PlayStation 3 Gaming System, and the iPad (currently the release date is TBA).

The title reunites fans of the franchise with familiar characters from the world of "Back to the Future" on modern gaming platforms. By once again traveling through time, gamers can experience Hill Valley first-hand in a world full of rich and colorful three dimensional environments. Delivering an all new exciting and well written plot that extends the movie experience, in chapter 1, "It's About Time," gamers are able to explore Hill Valley as McFly as they investigate the mysterious reappearance of the DeLorean, while also rescuing the missing "Doc" Brown.

The adventure itself begins when hints and clues lead Marty back to the 1930's prohibition era, where a young Doc Brown finds himself in trouble with local bootlegging gangsters led by the one and only "Kid" Tannen. While the likenesses and voices of all characters hit their marks, Christopher Lloyd is the only original character to be directly involved with the title by reprising his role with voice-over work.

The casual gameplay is reminiscent of early Sierra adventure titles (i.e. King's Quest) and is based on collecting items along with interacting with characters through conversation trees. Progression of the game occurs when the right sequence of conversation and investigative events have taken place.

There is a high-level of enjoyment to be found in the title. As the gameplay itself and the challenges within aren't overly difficult, gamers of all ages will find smooth play as they wait in anticipation for further installments.
