Travel to the Beaches of the Bahamas This Summer
The Beautiful Beaches Are Reason Enough to Visit the Beautiful Bohemian Islands
If you're traveling to the Bahamas this summer, there are certain places that you absolutely must visit. Obviously, one of the main draws of this area of the world is the large number of beach spots that are good for family and fun. In the Bahamas, tourists must be sure to visit the New Providence beaches, which feature some of the whitest sand in the world and a number of beautiful trees to go along with it. There, you'll find gorgeous palm trees and seagrape trees that and indigenous to the area. The best thing about these beaches is that there is a little something for everyone. Some beaches are small and offer serenity for families. Some of the larger beaches serve as meeting spots for local socialites. Among those must-see beaches include Western Esplandane, which is located right in the middle of the capital city of Nassau.
On Paradise Island, travelers will find refuge at a beautiful place called Paradise Beach. This long string of beautiful sand, which stands at the far eastern area of the Bahamas, has long been a popular spot for young travelers. Though the rest of Paradise Island is nice, nothing compares to the beauty of Cabbage Beach. As the most beautiful and famous beach on Paradise Island, Cabbage Beach is located conveniently on the north part of the island. It's location is nice because it connects uniquely to Snorkeler's Cove, a popular hang out for scuba divers and snorkelers alike.
If you are looking for a resort heavy beach, Cable Beach is the place to go in the Bahamas. Its location sits only three miles from the capital city of Nassau, a short trip from where most travelers call home. If you aren't one of those lucky enough to have a place right on the beach, then you will love the public beach access points which populate the beach front. If you want to be isolated, then this probably isn't your spot, but if you are looking for constant action, then head to Cable Beach. With vendors running around everywhere and jetskiers playing in the shallow wake, there's always something going on.
These beaches and a few more are what make the Bahamas the true pearl of the Caribbean. While others might be trying to dethrone the islands as the top tourist destination in the Caribbean, few can come close to matching the beauty and entertainment of the Nassau area beaches. If you're looking for an awesome travel spot for this summer, The Bahamas is the place for you.

Post a CommentI have noticed that alot of Americans make the same mistake over and over, of pronouncing and spelling 'Bahamian' wrong. It is not 'bohemian', it is Bahamian! (pronounciation: buh-hey-mee-uhn). For an audio of the pronounciation, visit the following link: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/bahamian?&qsrc=
