Hotels - Assuming you are not crashing on a relative's couch, or on the floor of the Lincoln chapter of your fraternity, you will need a place to sleep. These are all located downtown, within walking distance to the stadium, bars, restaurants and parking.

Embassy Suites Lincoln - A quick 15 minute walk will have you at Memorial Stadium. The hotel gets great reviews, and is conveniently located downtown.
Holiday Inn Lincoln-Downtown - As the name implies, this hotel is also right in the heart of Lincoln. Just a few blocks farther from Memorial Stadium than the Embassy Suites, a 20 minute walk should have you there.
The Cornhusker - A landmark in downtown Lincoln, it is located less than 30 minutes by foot to the stadium. As with the other two, the Cornhusker gets excellent reviews.
Bars - O Street is where you will want to be after the game, or during if you don't score any tickets. There are many bars to choose from, all within easy walking distance to the listed hotels. Be sure to take a little cash with you, as you may have to pay a cover charge at the door.

The N-Zone - A favorite of locals, this bar and grill is located in the historic Haymarket district. Choose from a variety of wings and drink specials.
Iguana's - Located at 1426 O Street, this bar will be packed after the game. Check it out if you are interested in a good time.
The Bar - The Bar is a Lincoln classic. Located at 17th and P Street, the Bar is a college favorite.
Restaurants - Lincoln offers a variety of restaurants. Check out one or all of the local favorites below, or find your own place while walking around the downtown and Haymarket districts.

Lazlo's - Sample from a wide selection of appetizers, burgers and entrees while you enjoy a house brewed Empyrean ale.
Grisanti's - This Italian restaurant is located outside of downtown, but will be worth the extra effort. Grisanti's offers both lunch and dinner including a nice selection of wines.
Valentino's Pizza - This "Grand Italian Buffet" will not disappoint. All you can eat pizza, pasta, bread sticks and desserts can satisfy anyone.
Memorial Stadium and Parking

Memorial Stadium - Constructed in 1923, the home of the Cornhuskers has a sellout streak dating back to November 3, 1962. More than 80,000 fans pack the stadium for home games, the record being 85,831 people. Over the past several years, the University of Nebraska has loaded the stadium with screens, including the giant HuskerVision screen in the north end zone. Keep your eyes peeled for Larry the Cable Guy, a Husker die hard fan, and frequent occupant of the luxury Skyline Suites in Memorial Stadium.
Parking - Make game day parking easier by planning ahead. The University offers game day parking for $10 per car. There are also public parking garages downtown. If staying at a downtown hotel, leave your car and walk to the game.
Series Highlights

Oklahoma leads the series with Nebraska (44 OU-37 NU-3 Tie). In recent years, Oklahoma has dominated the Huskers, winning four of the last five meetings. Nebraska fans look to the past, and want their team to be able to compete with and beat the strongest team in the Big XII Conference as they once did. The Sooners look to handle the Huskers in Lincoln, but you can bet there will be a packed house cheering for the home team.
