Greene is a town in the Androscoggin County of Maine with about four thousand residents. According to maine.gov, it was settled in 1773 and its population has more than doubled since 1970. Greene has several stores, a few restaurants, a summer camp, an assisted living center, and various other establishments.

DINING: Hurricane's Cafe & Deli (hurricanedeli.com) offers sandwiches, soups, salads, coffee, pastries, and other items. According to their website, they are open seven days a week, with the longest hours Thursday through Saturday. The website offers full menus with prices.

Country Cookin' To Go (countrycookintogo.com) sells pizza, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, and more. They also have a detailed menu and hours posted on their website. Both Country Cookin' To Go and Hurricane's Cafe & Deli are located on Route 202.
