Travel to an Oasis Passport Free

Did you know that there are some vacation spots you can go to without having to get a passport? That is because these particular vacation spots are part of the United States but do not feel as if they are. If you thought that you had to get a passport in order to enter into paradise, than think again!

One very beautiful spot is in the Florida Keys. It is located very south in the Gulf of Florida. It can be found very easily by taking a drive on highway 1. By taking that road, you will run into the Sombrero Beach. It is adorned with sand that is as white as snow! You can also find some state parks near by this beach. One is the Bahia Honda State Park. If you want another option, you can drive a little more and find the Dry Tortugas National Park. This is an island that has a lot of Civil War history attached to it. This spot makes for a very interesting history lesson.

Where else can you visit paradise passport free? The Virgin Islands are another excellent choice! They are located east of Puerto Rico.

The Virgin Islands are actually three islands that are close together. There is the St. Thomas island, the St. John Island and the St. Croix island. St. Thomas is often used as a stop for cruise ships. If you wish to avoid all of the tourists, you should visit St. John. You can take a fun little ferry ride to this island. While you are venturing in the Virgin Islands, you must remember that you will have to drive on the left side of the road. If you would rather not drive yourself around, you can get a taxi instead. They only cost about ten dollars! Looking for a specific beach? If so, you may want to check out the Hawksnest. It is a great beach that is beautiful and many times empty! You can also check out Trunk Bay. This area has gorgeous views and will take your breath away! The Virgin Islands are full of culture and fun activities such as snorkeling.

Puerto Rico is another fun United States oasis. For many years, Puerto Rico has been used for United States Navy practices. Now, however, it has become a great vacation spot! There are national parks such as the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. It is a little off of the beaten path, however you can take a fun ferry ride in order to get there. You can also go to the scalloped bays too. One of the best locations in Puerto Rico is Orchid Beach. It is beautiful and it is completely worth your time. You can also go to Bio Bay where you will be able to see a very unique array of sea creatures. There are also plenty of outdoor activities to partake in such as kayaking. There is even a kayak tour that you can do at night.
