Seattle, Washington, is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. It is nicknamed The Emerald City. The city is a green gem with an abundance of evergreen trees. I'm guessing it's because it rains so much!

To the east lies the beautiful views of the Cascade Mountains and to the west is the spectacular view of the Olympic Mountains. Seattle is the home of vibrant arts and an excellent park system.

There is no wonder you would love visiting Seattle. But what to do if you are on a budget?

Rooming:

If you're looking to find a cheap place to stay in Seattle, there are many places you can reserve a discounted rate with online.

You could try hotels.com or find a package of flight + hotel at priceline.com which is a wonderful deal destined to save you a lot of that hard earned green stuff.

Not only does it have great hotels but it lists many other things to do in Seattle and how to get around.

Getting to the good stuff:

Well of course you want to find some fun stuff to do! That won't be hard in Seattle. One of the cheapest things I can think of is Adventuring!

Taking a Nature walk, hiking, bicycling, fishing, mountain climbing and more.
Even skiing or snowshoeing depending on the weather! Most of these are very cheap and only require you to purchase the necessary equipment.

In Seattle there are over 190 galleries! They range from framed art to jewelry pottery, antiques and more! What could be more fun and money saving than visiting some galleries?

There are many beautiful garden's and one of particular interest is February's annual northwest flower and garden show with 28-full-size gardens.
Among these there are performing arts, wineries and much more!

If you want to get over into more expensive you could take up the Cruises, which are sure to blow you mind.

Eating:

Once you get into the culinary aspect of this beautiful place named Seattle it may be hard to pull back your hands from your wallet.

Filled with seafood, wine and all the best it's extremely tempting, but not so much for the wallet! However there are still things you can do to save some money

On a Budget Asian:

If you're still craving sushi but you want a little price cut head over to Musashi's on 1400 N 45th St. Sushi lovers on a budget come from all over the city to dine here.

At the Seattle Deli on 225 12th Ave S. Savor Vietnamese sandwiches, They are at a serious bargain here.

At Uwajimaya Village food court, crowds will flock to this internetional food court, offering fast and tasty Asian Food at bargain prices. It is located on 600 Fifth Ave S.

Down home cheap American:

Bakeman's Restaurant located on 122 Cherry St is lovely! Try ordering the perfect day-after-thanksgiving turkey sandwich from this legendary lunch room.

If you just want a burger and a milk shake then head over to Dick's Drive-in on 111 NE 45th St. Love it or hate it , this joint is still the city's cheapest meal.

Ezell's famous chicken on 501 23rd Ave is worth the trip if you're having that serious fried chicken craving.

Fiesta without the loss of weight in your wallet:

Gordito's Healthy Mexican food on 213 N 85th St. The burrito Grande is so massive that it's made with two flour tortillas! You could easily feed a few people.

Chipotle Mexican Grill on 4231 University Avenue Way Ne. This is a nationwide chain and has yummy cheap gourmet burritos and tacos, prepared as you like by a cheerful crew.

As always taking public transportation helps. Don't forget to ask locals what their favorite spots in town are, you'll never regret it! Have fun in Seattle.
