Of course Lancaster has its fair share of fast food. As the city is quite spread out you will find several of each fast food restaurants in most cases. As an example, Lancaster features 2 McDonald's, 3 Taco Bells, 3 Wendy's, and 2 Burger Kings. There is also 3 Subway's that I know of in Lancaster.
I am sure that while in the area on vacation you will eat at a fast food restaurant or two, but these restaurants don't really need many details in this dining guide. Every one across the country is basically the same, as franchises don't allow much room for unique add ons.
Seeking a quality Pizzeria in Lancaster is not at all a challenge. People in Lancaster Ohio take their pizza seriously. If you are on a budget and you like pizza, Lancaster has definitely got you covered on the pizza scene. A great and affordable pizza place that is ideal for families with children is Etza Pizza Buffett. Etza Pizza offers many selections of pizza, desserts and side dishes such as macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, salads, pastas soups and more. It is good pizza, at really cheap prices. Etza Pizza Buffett also has an impressive selection of arcade games that are sure to keep your kids well entertained.
Other local favorites include Pizza Crossing, whose slogan is "The best pizza. Period." I would have to agree. Even though I am not from Lancaster Ohio, I have pizza crossings phone number memorized so I can call ahead and order a delicious all the way pizza when I am passing through Lancaster. The prices are not that bad considering how yummy their pizza is! Pizza Cottage is a decently priced pizzeria, and their pizzas are decent too. This is not amongst my favorites in the area, but it is a very popular pizzeria with the locals. Pizza Cottage caters to many of the areas bingo halls, and it has really made them stand out among many Lancaster residents. I recommend Fat Cats pizza which has several locations through out town. They make a gigantic party pizza, ideal for the big families and birthday parties.
Lancaster Ohio also features Dontos, Pizza Hut, East of Chicago, Dominoes ans most of the standard pizza shops you will find just about anywhere, as well as many pizza shops I have not had the opportunity to try out.
What it boils down to is this: Pizza is serious in Lancaster, and they definitely have something for everyone!
