Traveling Down the Wrong Road

Evette
The path of life is a very interesting, complicated, and at times frustrating journey. Life will have us traveling down the right road with everything moving smoothly the way we expect it to, and all at once we hit a bump and make a detour down the wrong road. Whether we decide to travel down that road or allow someone to lead us down that road is irrelevant. One thing we need to remember is as long as we are striving for excellence to reach our destiny, nothing can prevent us. Yes, of course there will always be bumps and turns along the way that may try to hinder us; but as long as we embrace our faith, and know who is in control at all times we can achieve anything.

After the obstacles have been removed, we find ourselves on the right road again. We may even find ourselves showered with blessings that we could have never imagined. Once we have been blessed, we must also be a blessing to someone else. We need to realize everything we suffer through are just lessons we need to learn. It has been said there is always some good that comes out of the bad, and I believe that. The bad is just a test of the trials and tribulations we must endure to make us stronger in order to prepare us for what is yet to come. It enables us to appreciate and be able to handle the good in life we all deserve.

I know this for myself as I have been on the wrong road a few times in life. As a matter of fact, I have recently traveled down several of these roads within the past eight years, one after the other. I am finally on the right road again and I am at peace and satisfied with where I am now in life. I feel no matter what I have been through, am going through, or will go through, I know when it is all over I will again be at peace. One thing we must remember is during the bad times as well as the good times we must continue to pray and be thankful.

As I have written in a previous article, titled A Few of Life's Lessons, it has been said that "Only the Strong Will Survive". This I also believe is true as you have to be a very strong human being to survive in this world, dealing with what life and society has or does not have to offer--without losing your mind, freedom or life.

How true Evette. If you keep an open mind you kind find a positive in everything in life.

I agree with you 100%: I twisted my ankle just one day prior to taking on a new job, I guess the old axiom "whatever can happen, will happen" is still true.
