Treasure Hunt
I love to spend an afternoon;
In my favorite antiques store;
Looking at the treasures;
Displayed on shelves;
Dolls and tea sets;
Jewelry and fine china;
Memories of yesteryear;
All in one beautiful place;
Exploring all the wonders;
From a time of long ago;
Sometimes I just browse;
But mostly I love to buy;
Such joy I feel when I find;
That one piece that tugs me;
A gift for a relative;
Or a beloved friend;
Something that I may keep;
I could pay only a little;
And sometimes I spend a lot;
But even if I spend nothing;
It still makes me happy;
To spend the afternoon;
Simply window shopping

Post a CommentMy wife used to drag me out to antique shops with her all the time when we lived in PA. Her being from the south, she had a grand time shopping in places with stuff even older and more rare than she was used to. Thanks for sharing and bringing back a memory of fonder times. Great job.
