And outside, in the summer months, vegetables, lawn equipment, garage sale items, gardening plants...
The list goes on.
Here are some specifics:
My favorite 'booth' (actually it's a very large area toward the rear of the flea market) is the Chinese goods store operated by YWeng Trading. This reminds me of Canal Street in New York City, with traditional Chinese bargains, everything from purses to plants, calculators to tools, hats to batteries... And everything is at bargain prices. Just beware of the 'small' sizes of clothing. Large is small.
My second favorite is the Avon stand in the corner between the two entrances. Three shower gels sell for $5.00. You can't beat that. You can purchase discontinued merchandise. You can pick up many of your old favorites. And the merchant gives discounts on items ordered from the catalog, if you pick them up yourself.
For the young ones (somewhere to stash your kids while you are shopping), there is the roller park, to the far left of the main entrance (west side). Skateboarders beware--steep slopes ahead. This 'store' is completely enclosed behind glass doors.
The Creegan Store has many items on consignment from local residents. Creegan also has stalls throughout the market. You can see their animated items on their website www.Creegans.com
X-box, ps2, Atari and Sega games are found in a couple of booths.
Fresh pies and other baked goods are featured at several booths, some from the Amish.
The grocery store in the south-east corner sells fresh produce, candy and Amish jellies.
Other stalls include tools, jewelry, lingerie, antique furniture, wooden swings. The list goes on and on.
Then there are the food stalls by the cafe area just inside the main entrance: hot sandwiches, pizza and other Italian specialties, pretzels, chocolate.
Treasure Island Flea Market is open every Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Stalls are available to rent.
