Treasure Isle is the newest Facebook game from Zynga, makers of super hits FarmVille and Cafe World. In Treasure Isle the idea is to travel the high seas and dig for treasure on the many tropical islands you can visit. If you want to know more about the basics of the game, you can read this game guide.

The key to being successful in Treasure Isle is to manage your energy wisely. Energy limits how many squares you can explore which again determines how many treasures you'll recover and how fast you will level up. To get the most out of your energy, here are some very useful tips.

Treasure Isle Tips

Always focus on the plain squares first. In Treasure Isle it costs 5 energy points to explore a plain square, while a square with a tree or flower costs 7 energy points. If you need to break a rock it costs a whooping 10 energy. Treasures are no more likely to be found at any one type of square, so when exploring a new island always uncover the plain squares first.

When exploring island, Treasure Isle give you some very valuable tips. Always be on the lookout for messages saying there is a treasure near by or very close. When the game says there is a treasure near by that means the treasure is two squares away from where you are digging. When you get a message saying a treasure is very close it is buried at one of the neighboring squares. This information is very useful and can in some cases help you determine exactly where a treasure is hidden. Uncovering treasure is the very best way to gain experience so when you get one of these messages, make sure you uncover the treasure even if it means exploring squares that require more energy.

Another very useful tip is to always keep an eye on your experience points and how close you are to leveling up. Especially early in the game you will level up very quickly. When you level up in Treasure Isle all your energy is refilled to the maximum level. Your maximum energy level also increases so leveling up has many great advantages. If you are close to leveling up, make sure you have as little energy left as possible before leveling up. If you level up with almost full energy you waste a lot of free energy that will come in very handy. To keep yourself from leveling up too soon never uncover a treasure before your energy is running very low. The high experience points you get from uncovering treasure could be enough to make you level up too soon. A good tip can be to always make sure you have a supply of fruit in your backpack when you are close to leveling up. With a backup source of energy you can run your energy all the way down to zero and then use fruit to uncover treasures you have intentionally not uncovered yet. Just use one fruit at a time to make sure you don't use more energy than needed to level up. Also, use the lowest yielding fruit you have first.

If you want to level up quickly you should also make sure to always request an energy pack from your friends. Whenever you run below 5 energy points and try to explore a plain square, you will get the option to request energy from your friends. Make sure you do this once every day. Whomever sends you an energy pack will also recieve one of their own which makes it extremely likely that any Treasure Isle playing friends will be more than happy to send you one. An energy pack completely restores your energy. Naturally, you should never use an energy pack until you are completely out of energy.

If you are close to leveling up but you are completely out of energy you can still gain experience points in a few ways. When visiting a friends island you will be asked to help them with some sort of issue. This will score 5 experience points without costing any energy. Make sure you visit your friends islands every day not only for the experience points, but also to collect gems from their trees. Gems are another great way of earning free experience points as you can use them to unlock gate statues that block parts of an island. Unlocking a statue earns you 5 more experience points without using any energy. Finally, the best was to score free experience points is to use dynamite to remove huge boulders. Dynamite costs only 250 coins at the store and you get 5 experience points when using it on a boulder. You can travel to many different islands and blow them up without using any energy and still collecting lots of experience points.

Treasure Isle Cheats

These tips will help you advance quickly in Treasure Isle, but for some real benefits the best way to get ahead is to cheat. As with all the most popular Facebook games it's possible to hack Treasure Isle using Cheat Engine and manipulate the Firefox memory directly to get more money and gems etc. I will not cover these types of cheats in this article but there should be plenty of information available online for people who want to cheat using cheat applications.

The best Treasure Isle cheat is the unlimited gems gift cheat. This cheat allows you to gift gems of any color to your friends. Make sure to share this cheat with them and have them gift you back the gems you want. To send a gem as a gift simply click on one of the following links:

Red Gem

Orange Gem

Another cheat that can be a little hard to use is to explore an island twice. Sometimes after completing a treasure the game will forget that you have explored islands on one of the earlier maps. This doesn't always happen, but whenever you trade in a treasure it can be worth the effort to travel back to the maps you have already completed. If you are lucky all the islands on an earlier map will be unexplored. The benefit is that the earlier islands are smaller and much faster to explore. If you are close to leveling up, the complete island bonus can come in very handy.
