Bacne, or back acne, sucks, plain and simple. It's irritating, painful, and tough to treat and get rid of. If you suffer from bacne, try some natural remedies to help clear up your back so you can show off your lovely skin all summer long- not cover it up in the heat of summer!
Tea tree oil and lavender oil are great essential oils for treating bacne. Tea tree oil is great on the back because it won't dry out or irritate the skin, and since it is a strong oil in fighting bacteria and fungus, it's great to use as a body wash for bacne or to apply onto the back before applying a normal moisturizer. Lavender oil is a great tool for treating bacne both in battling scarring of current bacne and in having an antiseptic quality, making it great for burns, scratches, and those nasty bug bites as well.
There are a few ways that lavender oil or tea tree oil can be used to treat bacne. They can be used in addition to current soaps or body washes (add a few drops of either one to your current body wash for exfoliation and healing of acne on your back), or applied directly to the affected skin after showering or bathing to be a protective shield against sweat, bacteria, and clogging lotions throughout the day.
In addition to treating bacne with essential oils, you can give your skin a healing boost by staying hydrated with lots of water consumption, which encourages skin growth and is healthy for the body all around, and in wearing breathable, cotton clothing that won't trap sweat in the body, and therefore won't clog pores. Treating bacne can be an annoyance, but just like you can use natural remedies on your face for acne, you can do the same for your back, so you don't have to feel uncomfortable in your skin-revealing clothing come summer time.
