Treatment

A dog does it on its chosen place of interest; a donkey does it on the main road itself, birds needn't do it and many civilized and sensitive humans do it in some sheltered place. It is natural but doing it publicly looks absurd in the modern societies. Lony Josum was 20 and studying at a famous college in the city. Girls find him tempting. He is handsome and intelligent. Sheep and cows stare at him on roads. He has charisma in his face, many feel. His mother Nirupama and sister Jahnavi were trying to forget about it. His father Jatilman could already achieve it. He wets bed. He was allotted a cot in one corner of their house. I pitied his state of being. May be it's his helplessness. One's perspective decides it. One day my friend Nirali Dobe told me that she fell in love with him. She was yet to express it. I knew that he would readily accept it. His background was so. I couldn't imagine the future of Nirali beside him on bed. The early night would be ok. The morning would be a shock of feelings and regrets to her. I had to do something. I couldn't expect his parents and sister to do it for him. The issue is slightly funny and largely awkward. I heard much about Jahoben Sodhan in Divya Nagar. He was a famous specialist in that branch of treatment. I told Josum one morning about the unexpressed love of Nirali for him. He didn't like to miss her. He agreed to come with me to him. His sentimental closeness with Dobe was already deep. Love is fire. It was burning in his nerves. Only Dobe can cool it down with her sweet words for him. Sodhan's clinic was very little. Only three or four patients can sit in it at a time. He welcomed us warmly. He told Lony to wait outside for two minutes. I left the details about my friend's disorder in his right ear at a low voice. He then called him inside. He laid himself down on a bed. The doctor requested him to concentrate his looks on his two eyes only. I was observing the event like a mute spectator. He was narrating him melodiously, "A huge kingdom is forming around you slowly. There are millions of creatures in it. Your role or size is very negligible in it. You have every right to live freely attending your personal works regularly. There are no supervisors, critics or subordinates in your network of relationships. All your familiar ones are away from you. Many unfamiliar ones are slowly getting attracted toward you. It was raining in some distance. You are sensing it. It was around 5:00 in the evening. You are alone at your home. You saw Dobe coming toward you. Your vision is correct. She is really coming to propose to you. It's going to be the most memorable event in your life. You are bound to react properly to grab the golden opportunity at hand. She is now only two steps away from you. You are slightly shivering and yet trying to cover it. She sensed your nervousness. She too started experiencing the same. Anything may happen shortly. It's all a matter of a few seconds. The initiative may be either's but the result belongs to both. You are sweating profusely. She is observing it confusedly. Power went off suddenly. Darkness filled up the space immediately. She kissed you somewhere. You failed to reciprocate in time. She ran away from you with timidity and humility. A part of your body did it accurately. The wetness is the evidence. You can rise now". He begged his nurse to remove the bed sheet immediately as he rose. He did it satisfactorily at the climax of the treatment by the hypnotist. Sodhan told me secretly before leaving, "Your friend's disorder is completely cured now. He avoids untimely releases hereafter. You needn't bring him back to me for further suggestions or clarifications. It's no more desirable. Bye forever". I took him to his house after he changed his clothes in our house. He assured me that he was feeling well after the treatment. Nirali married him in 2000. She never liked to show her face to me after the marriage. The motivating factors still remained a mystery to me!! I heard that regular washing program is still on in their house. Who knows?!
