Tree Hut Shea Body Lotion (Review)
The Tree Hut Company is best known for implementing organic Shea Butter into every product that they make. Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil and coconut shells that come directly from the Polynesian Islands are also in many of their products. The Tree Hut Company has a wide collection of products to choose from such as scrubs, washes, lotions, body butters, and none of their products are tested on animals.
I was given the opportunity to try this lotion and I was so pleased with the product that I wanted to share my experience with you.
Tree Hut Shea Body Lotion in the scent of almond and honey, comes in a large, brown 11.75 fl. oz. pump size bottle, and has a strong, fresh scent.
I have always liked natural skin care products, especially lotions. Lotions that have a wonderful aroma to them are something that I like as well, however the aroma is not enough, it also has to soften my skin.
Shea Butter comes from the African Shea Tree and is used in many cosmetics to moisturize the skin. Almond comes from the Amygdalus Tree, is used for many purposes, and makes a great emollient. Honey comes from flowers that bees make and they use the nectar to make honey, which helps to heal the skin. Did you know that if you leave honey out without being refrigerated it will not spoil? All of these ingredients combined make this lotion very special.
I love the scent of Tree Hut Shea Body Lotion. In fact, the first thing that I noticed was the strong almond scent. The next thing that I noticed was that it made my skin feel soft and very smooth. I use this lotion on my arms, legs, feet, elbows, knees or anywhere my skin feels dry and I like it because I know that I am putting something good on my skin.
The only thing that I did not like about the lotion is that the scent does not linger on my skin for that long. The scent is very strong when first applied, but then fades within a short time. Overall, my experience with this lotion has been a positive one.
If you want soft, smooth skin, enjoy the scent of almonds, and you prefer a body lotion made with organic ingredients, then I highly recommend that you give Tree Hut Shea Body Lotion a try.
