The route begins in Phobjika Valley, situated at a height of 2830m and follows ups and downs to the highest peak Tsele La, at 3440 m above the sea level. The area is rich in exotic vegetation like ferns, magnolia, orchids, rhododendron etc. One can also find daphne plants, used in making traditional paper.
