Gameplay

The objective of Tremerz is to save your friends and avoid the creatures that pop up from the ground. The creatures are prompted by tremors that occur before the worm-like creatures shoot out of the ground. For each tremor there is one worm-like creature that will shoot out of the ground from where the tremor orginates and make an arc in the air until it hits the ground somewhere else.

Once you click Play, the game will begin. You control your game character using the mouse. Simply click to jump. Touch the other virtual characters on the screen to have them follow you around. Their fates are now in your hands. Once you collect an individual, you will have to avoid the creatures for a certain amount of time. Do not touch the creatures that jump out of the ground. Each time you do, you will lose one individual from your line of virtual characters. Lose all of them and you will have to begin the game all over again.

If you are successful in dodging all of the creatures in a set, you will be able to move on to the next friend. Collect the next friend, and avoid the next set of worm-like creatures. Continue and see how far you can get.

Game Review

Tremerz is great for anyone needing a short break or a quick game fix. Though repetitive, the gameplay is quite addictive and can keep players playing for quite some time.

Overall, Tremerz scores an 8/10 for its addicting concept and fun gameplay. Though it is a short creation and does not involve too much, it is in this simplicity that makes it a great submission. The increasing level of difficulty adds variety to the game. Tremerz demonstrates how Flash animation can be used to create fun, addicting little online games.
