This park is a wide open park; a little small but very well maintained and has a clean atmosphere throughout the park and throughout the little town of Myrtle Creek. It's located near the Cascade Mountains and offers golfing, fishing, casinos and some beautiful views; a gem in the middle of nowhere and a wonderful find when you're at the day's end and really need a clean and quiet place to spend the night.
Myrtle Creek is located in the lower 1/3 part of the state and in the west side. It has a fun little bar that serves hamburgers, among other tasty things, that are really pretty good. The name of the bar is the Country Club. We found the people there very friendly and welcoming. There was at least one other place to eat if you don't like bar food.
A little information about the park for you. Afterall, that's what you're looking for so you can decide if it's a park where you'd like to stay. It is a privately owned little park that has nice pull-through sites along with regular back-in sites (25 X 45). This is fairly new park; kind of like a little parking lot but with definite paved sites and that have grassy areas between.
There are 70 paved sites (24 X 60) with 32 pull-through sites for extra big rigs with the wide slide-outs. All sites are plenty wide enough for slide outs. They are pretty spacious. They do not allow tents. You get free cable TV, free wireless Internet, or WiFi, 20/30/50 amps, water and sewer. Paved interior roads really make leveling your rig a breeze. There are restrooms, hot clean showers, laundry facilities, handicap access and RV supplies in the office. There's no clubhouse or scheduled activities.
We went for a walk twice while there and, even though it is on Old Pacific Hwy, there was very little traffic to worry about. The length of the town offers plenty of walking with some sidewalks. We had FedEx deliver our slide motor and the office was more than willing to allow the delivery. Many parks will allow UPS and FedEx deliveries. The owner lives upstairs of the office so there's no problem with receiving packages but it's a very good idea to check with him first.

Check ahead for the rates for this year. They allow discounts for Good Sam Club and the rates might have changed since last year when we were there. I believe we paid, using Good Sam Club discounts, $14.00 a night. The do accept Visa and Master Card.
