Trick or Treat

Halloween is fun to get dressed up and go out with your candy bag. You can dress up scary, simple, or creative and have a blast. You do not have to go out trick or treating. There are ways you can still get candy or give them out. In Fall River, Ma we have many places that kids can still have fun at.

Bank Street Amry, on Bank Street they have rooms of fun. Their is candy, face painting, stories to tell, adults entertaining the children, balloons, decorating cookies, passing out candy, games and more. This is a big community and many people come here on this night. At least, 2,000 people attend this night here. It is fun and it is safe.

At the YMCA, on North Main street they have a bog room filled for families to come and have fun. They have artists there to pain your picture, games, party favors, and refreshments. Many people come here.

Many people do stay home and let the smaller children go to the door and give out candy. With smaller children they get scared of the costumes so it is best to stay indoors. Halloween can be scary for some parents to have their children out at night. Some kids take advantage of this night by throwing eggs at homes and cars. It is much safer to plan a party at home or a family members home.


For the older kids that do not want to trick or treat they do go to haunted houses. The Asylum Of Horror is here in this city. They have one on South Main street behind Dunkin Dounuts. Starts last week of September and ends on Halloween night. This place brings in thousands of dollars within this time period. It is very spooky and scary. Some other Haunted Houses in Mass are:

A great family night would be to buy pumpkins and carve them, scrapbook, and make pumpkin pie. You could rent a Halloween movie and pop some popcorn and this would be a memory. You could toast marshmellows and tell scary stories. You could also go out for a ride and look at the houses all decorated. Halloween is a fun night whether you go out or stay home. It is a night to remember.
