Let Your Child Enjoy a Safe Trick or Treat This Halloween at Select New Jersey Malls

One of the best ways your child can have a safe Halloween is to bring them to a shopping mall that is holding a trick or treat event. For your convenience, here are some trick or treat events in New Jersey malls this Halloween.

Trick or treat events at New Jersey Malls-Garden State Plaza, Paramus

The Garden State Plaza in Paramus NJ is hosting Safe Trick or Treat on Friday October 30th between 2-6pm. The event starts at the Westfield Play Station (near Old Navy) for story reading. From there, the children will march in a Halloween parade to the Borders Book Store for complimentary snacks. The actual trick or treat happens between 4-6pm and participating stores will display a pumpkin in their window. The Garden State Plaza is at the junction of Routes 4 and 17.

Trick or treat events at New Jersey Malls-Ocean County Mall, Toms River

Trick or treating for all children takes place on October 30th from 3-7pm. In addition to trick or treating, kids who are members of Kidgit Club will be invited to a special Halloween event in the center court from 3-6pm. Goody bags will be given to Kidgit Club members. Membership can be purchased for $10 and includes a photo of your child in costume and tee shirt. Ocean County Mall is on Hooper Avenue just off Route 37.

Trick or treat events at New Jersey Malls-Quaker Bridge Mall, Lawrenceville

In addition to a trick or treat around the mall from 12-5pm, The Quaker Bridge Mall Kids Club and Radio Disney will hold Mall-o-ween on October 31st. This celebration takes place near Lord and Taylor between 1-2:30pm. Children can participate in a Halloween parade to show off their costumes and play Halloween themed games for prizes. Goody bags will be given out while supplies last. Quaker Bridge Mall in on Route 1 North.

Trick or treat events at New Jersey Malls-Woodbridge Center Mall, Woodbridge

Trick or treat starts at 12pm on Halloween at the Woodbridge Center Mall and continues while participating retailers have candy to give! A DJ will be on hand at the Village Court near Sears from 1-3pm to entertain the children with music and games. Woodbridge Center Mall is located between Route 1 and 9.

Trick or treat events at New Jersey Malls-Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold

Trick or treat takes place at the Freehold Raceway Mall on Halloween from 12-3pm. Participating stores will have a sign in their window. Freehold Raceway Mall is located on Route 9.

Trick or treat events at New Jersey Malls-Bridgewater Commons Mall, Bridgewater

Your child can safely trick or treat at the Bridgewater Commons Mall on October 31st from 3-6pm. See guest services for participating retailers. Bridgewater Commons Mall is located near Routes 202/6 and 22.

    Mall trick or treating also means you are out of the weather. I remember trick or treating in the snow one year when my sister's kids were young. I would have loved the mall option back then!
