"Trick or Treat Street" is returning to Cleveland's I-X Center in Cleveland for the first time since the 90s.

The indoor Halloween event will take place Oct. 29-31. Kids ages 3-12 will receive free trick-or-treat bags and tickets to a 10 themed candy houses and the 3D Mystery Manor.

All of these attractions are designed to be "not too scary."

The Mystery Manor features a maze and an "upside-down" room before sending its visitors out with a blast of bubbles.

In addition, the kids can enjoy amusement rides such as Helicopters, Bumper Cars, and the Merry-Go-Round; and attractions like mini golf, pony rides, and a pumpkin patch.

"After we ended Trick or Treat Street more than 10 years ago, we got calls for about five years asking to bring this event back," said Eric German, the vice president of marketing and business development for the I-X Center.

"Unfortunately, we needed the space for a large trade show, but now with the newly renovated South Hall, we have decided to bring back this event," he added.

Musical guests at Trick or Treat Steet will be the Tenny Shoe-Bop Bunny Band, which features musicians with a dancing bunny mascot on Oct. 30-31. Shaggy and Scooby-Doo will also appear on those days.

In addition, Chef Richard Alford from the University of Akron will appear to entertain the crowd with his pumpkin-carving skills.

Trick or Treat Street will be open on Friday, Oct. 29 from 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 30 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tickets cost $11, with Discount Drug Mart selling discounted tickets for $9.99. Kids age 2 and under get in free.

The I-X Center is located on Route 237, adjacent to Hopkins Airport near Interstate 71. For more information, go to www.ixtrickortreatstreet.com.

Trick or Treat Street is sponsored by Time Warner Cable, Ford, B.A. Sweetie Candy Co., and the Ohio Distance & Electronic Learning Academy (OHDELA).
