Working hard for so long,
Longing for the work to end,
Trying to live a life,
Following closely every turn and bend,
Longing for the work to end,
Trying to live a life,
Following closely every turn and bend,
Few have graced the halls of my heart,
They instead now grace hollows that have grown dark,
Quietness and simplicity found in those passing,
Reminiscing loves that seemed everlasting,
Sitting revisiting,
Wondering whats to come,
No regrets on these bets,
Though all those bets are done,
What remains from the set?
For my sleeve is empty now,
Here I have arrived,
And still I wonder how.
